Intermediate Motivational Interviewing: In this two-day workshop, participants with previous MI experience can advance their practice using additional tools and a closer focus on change talk and other strategies with an interactive, experiential learning approach. Participants will:

  1. Deepen their understanding of MI principles, Spirit and basic tools;
  2. Develop greater skill in the use of these basic tools, particularly complex reflection, which permit the therapist to direct the client toward his change goal;
  3. Have the opportunity to exchange with other practitioners, deepen and put into practice specific parts of MI that pose challenges to them (content will be adapted to the needs of the participants of each workshop).
  4. Develop strategies to help move clients towards their change objectives.
